DO I NEED AN APPRAISAL FOR MY JEWELRY?
There are many reasons to have an appraisal performed on your items. A diamond engagement ring is an example of something that is commonly appraised for insurance purposes. We will also gladly sort through inherited jewelry and let you know what is valuable that should be appraised and insured.
CAN I CONSIGN MY JEWELRY TO SAN CARLOS JEWELERS?
Yes, in most cases you can. If we feel your items cater well to the clients in the neighborhood we will offer to put your items in the store for consignment. We will evaluate each item and make you an offer for when each piece finds a happy new owner.
IS AN APPOINTMENT NECESSARY?
An appointment is not necessary. However, if you would like to work with a specific individual please call ahead for their availability.
HOW LONG WILL MY REPAIR/CUSTOM ORDER TAKE BEFORE IT’S COMPLETE?
Each repair or order may vary. Repairs typically take a week to 10 days to complete. A custom order can take 2-3 weeks depending on the complexity of the item. We do our best to be timely on each order and are happy to accommodate special requests whenever possible.
DO YOU BUY AND SELL GOLD AND ESTATE JEWELRY?
Yes! We have a great selection of gold, platinum and silver jewelry with a wonderful history behind each item. We also purchase broken jewelry or pieces you no longer want for cash or as credit toward a purchase or repair.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
Our return policy is 14 days with a receipt. We also offer merchandise exchanges within 30 days. Estate items and special orders are final sale.

San Carlos Jewelers is open Tuesday-Friday from 10:00am-5:30pm and Saturday from 10:00am-3:00pm. The store is closed Sunday and Monday. Holiday hours may vary. We are located in the Albertson’s Shopping center on the corner of Navajo Rd. and Lake Murray Blvd. (2 doors down from Einstein Bros. Bagels).
